God is so Creative

Most of the people who know me know that I am a sunny and 80's girl. I am someone who gets cold quite frequently, so I've never been one for the cold weather. Feeling the warm sunshine kissing my face and the warm breeze touching my skin is definitely the sensation I would rather feel...which is why Summer is my absolute favorite season. For the longest time, I've always said I was going to name my future daughter "Summer" just because of how much I love the summertime...but we will just have to wait and see if that plays out later ;)
In contrast to Summer being my favorite, winter is my least favorite (but you probably already guessed that ;)). The only two things that are worth getting excited for in the wintertime is Christmas and my birthday. My husband and I live in a place where we are blessed to have all seasons. But, having Winter means being cold for about 3 1/2 months (brrrr...). And, sometimes cold winters allow 'Frosty the Snowman', or 'Jack Frost' to visit....essentially that means snow.
Frosty the Snowman can make quite a ruckus on the roads and on the ground, which makes driving and walking a little scary (especially if you're a klutz like me ;)). Frosty also tends to steal or "borrow" people's things: a scarf, a hat, mittens, buttons, carrots, and sometimes a broomstick. (Why would a snowman want a broomstick, anyways??). And, isn't it kinda ironic that he wants a scarf, a hat (and not just any kind of hat, it has to be an Abraham Lincoln kind of hat), and mittens? You would think Frosty was cold or something ;).
Anyways, back to what I was saying originally...it's safe to say that coldness, ice, and snow is not my cup of tea. However as I was driving to work the other day as the snow continued to come down, I couldn't help but to stop and think about how God is so creative in what He does. I will admit that snow covering the ground is really pretty to see...I just don't like a lot of it haha. It's amazing though how each snowflake that falls from the sky is made differently then the other ones. To think about how much time God spends on creating each individual snowflake, makes me think about how much MORE time and thought was and is spent on creating YOU and ME, and it is artistically amazing! Did you know that it is said twice in the Bible (God's word) that God knows the number of hairs on your head?
"And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered." - Matthew 10:30 (NIV).
"Indeed, the very hairs on your head are all numbered." - Luke 12:7 (NIV).
I'm referencing these two particular scriptures because it demonstrates so well that God cares about what He creates. I also reference them to show how detailed God is when He makes an individual and how that individuality is special to Him and to those that surround that individual.
It's incredible to know that God himself wanted to design such a beautiful and unique masterpiece like YOU and ME to live here on Earth, to have a personal relationship with Him.
