Pimples--"Little Devils"

Pimples are gross, hard to get rid of, and are annoying!, right?! They hurt, they're sore, and they bleed. They come and go as they please, and when they come back, they're sneaky about it. How can something so small spread around, and make such an impact on our lives, and a yucky one at that? Those nasty little boogers can also be referred to as "little devils" on your chin, nose, etc....
It's kinda funny how pimples can be referred to as "little devils", isn't it? The Devil himself seems to work in the same way as those dirty little bumps on our faces do. He is sneaky, crafty, and he comes and goes when he pleases. He is a liar, deceiver, and causes ruckus in our lives. He spreads himself around looking for people to inflict his negative, yucky, annoying schemes on. As it says in Daniel,
"And through his shrewdness He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence; And he will magnify himself in his heart, And he will destroy many while they are at ease. He will even oppose the Prince of princes, But he will be broken without human agency." -Daniel 8:25

BUT, just like with pimples, there are preventatives and solutions to use.....
With pimples, you can wash your face daily to help keep your face clean (they even have special products to use to clean your face with to help them go away or to help prevent pimples altogether!), you can pop them (eww), and you can get prescriptions for them.
With the Devil, you can keep your life clean from dirty baggage by filtering your life with Bible verses, you can "pop" him out of your life by being a prayer warrior, and you can get a prescription filled to use to prevent and to get rid of that devil...and that is GOD!
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the Devil, and he will flee from you." -James 4:7
